Scott Rose is a professional actor, host, writer, and comedy improviser living in Austin, Texas, and was one of the top professional speakers for Apple Computer at their events nationwide for 6 years. He is the creator of the critically acclaimed one-man show Computer Geek: One Nerd's Search For His Soulmate, he is the president of ScottWorld, he is the national columnist of Mac|Life Magazine's "Ask" column, and he just finished his first comedy screenplay.


September 9, 2012: Scott Rose has written, directed, and starred in the viral hit video series Shit Apple Fanatics Say. The 2-part video series has been seen by almost 3 million viewers worldwide, and has been talked about extensively in the technology news, including The Huffington Post, CNN Money, The Washington Post, Mashable, Mashable (again!), Gizmodo, and many, many more sites. February 20, 2012: I am very proud to announce that Ernie Brandon and I have finished our amazing comedy screenplay Saving Larry's Hairline, about a man who is going bald and will do anything to get his hair back... anything. We feel that this screenplay is a hilarious farce about modern society, and we will be looking for production companies to turn it into a real movie that you can see on the big screen! :)

July 29, 2009: Scott will be performing standup comedy at The Comedy Store on July 29th at 8:00pm. Come hear Scott joke about the differences between Chicago and Los Angeles, the difficulties of sexual relationships in Los Angeles, and his addiction to iTunes.

February 17, 2009: You can now watch a 45-minute version of Scott's acclaimed one-man comedy show, "Computer Geek: One Nerd's Search For His Soulmate".

January 26, 2008: Scott is very pleased to announce that he is one of the subjects of a brand new documentary film that premieres this Saturday afternoon at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The name of the film is "Matchmakers: The Business of Selling Love", and the filmmakers have been following Scott around the country for the last few years as he has been performing his one-man comedy show about a nerd's search for his soulmate. There's no trailer for the film yet, but you can view a clip from the film here.

October 27, 2007: Scott Rose is honored that the Chicago Area Mensa Society has chosen Scott as the entertainment for their 2007 Annual Halloween Bash! Scott will be performing his hit show Computer Geek: One Nerd's Search For His Soulmate on Saturday night in Chicago.

September 5, 2007: Scott Rose is now performing in Hollywood Purity Ball, the evangelical phenomenon that is sweeping the country! Come enjoy an elegant night of dinner, dancing, entertainment, and celebration of virginity! (Please note: This show is a parody.)

October 2006: Scott can currently be seen performing his brand new one-man show Computer Geek: One Nerd's Search For His Soulmate. The show is a romantic comedy about a shy boy who grew up more comfortable with computers than with women, and received critical acclaim from the press as "a lively, well-paced show... genuinely entertaining."

The show debuted in Hollywood in 2005, and due to popular demand, it opened in Chicago in 2006. The show was directed by Richard Kline ("Three's Company") in Chicago, and after being extended numerous times with sold-out runs in both Hollywood & Chicago, Computer Geek is now touring the United States! The first stop on the tour was Los Angeles, and the show will be appearing in many more cities in 2007. Stay tuned for dates & locations!

9/29/06 If you live in the Los Angeles area, please come enjoy a very special performance of Computer Geek at the Comedy Central Stage in Hollywood on Monday night, October 23rd at 8:00 PM. 6/29/06 FINAL SHOW of Computer Geek in Chicago is this Thursday night, June 29th. After a phenomenal 3-month run in Chicago (all thanks to your tremendous support), it is now time for the run to come to an end this Thursday night. And in honor of closing night, we've added in some brand new BONUS MATERIAL that has never before been seen in any previous performance of Computer Geek. It's our way of saying thank you for your incredible support.
